ECOda Zoo

this is a cute little website. it's actually not about bookmaking, but there are 3D pop-up books of ECO ideas from each animal, really lovely. don't forget to move your mouse to get a 360 degree view of each page and the animals' homes.

Flip Animation Festival 2008

http://www.plotonline.co.uk/flip08/index.htm

A little bit off the path of Artists Books, but still a good couple of days out, Flip Animation Festival 08 is being held 6-8th November, the launch is in Birmingham and most of the rest is being held in Wolverhampton. Apparently it's also preceded by some gaming events in the days before.

Inspiration for Artist Book people

I came across a really useful search engine for Artist Books. You can search by artist, book type (e.g. accordion), technique, binding, subject or publisher.
Just a note to say, you need to enable pop-ups to use this site, as soon as you select something from the drop-down menus a new window will pop-up with the results.

Have fun!
